Austin Theory has been on a roll since he has aligned himself with Grayson Waller as a tag team on Smackdown. The former United States Champion has an impressive set of accolades to boast about from the past and the WWE Tag Team Championship win at WrestleMania 40 just added on to the list.

Back when Vince McMahon was involved in the company, Austin Theory was renowned to be McMahon’s protege and has earned a lot of success, thanks to that. However, his work under the new era led by Triple H is regarded as completely different.

In recent interview with Ten Count Media, Theory addressed how he felt working under both the pioneers of the industry. The WWE Tag Team Champion also addressed how being aligned with Grayson Waller has changed the game for him.

“Well, for me, you know, starting from NXT and going on to the main roster and having that time with Mr. McMahon and, you know, doing the selfie gimmick and becoming the youngest Mr. Money in the bank, becoming the youngest United States champion and kind of that being the top off with the Vince McMahon era. And then going on and having the big match with John Cena at WrestleMania.”

“And then kind of going to SmackDown and in a way finding myself with Grayson Waller and becoming the greatest undefeated tag team champions. Now being, as you said, you could call it the Triple H era. Man, we’re just on another level now. You know, we’re having PLEs all around the world. We’re right here in France today. We got a PLE here tomorrow in Lyon, France, and tonight we got SmackDown. So for me, the trajectory has been insane. And it’s only going to keep going because Austin Theory is the rocket, man.”

With Triple H in charge, it doesn’t seem like talent like Austin Theory would take time to hit new levels of greatness. With the character work he has been doing in the past few months, Theory could easily become one of the most hated heels or the most loved babyfaces anytime in the future.
