This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was nothing short of dramatic, as The Elite joined forces with Jack Perry to launch a brutal attack on AEW CEO Tony Khan, closing the show with a shocking twist. The Elite’s actions sent ripples through the AEW community, leaving fans and wrestlers in disbelief. After the violent assault, the impact on Khan and the aftermath of the attack has now been revealed.

Khan found himself in a precarious situation during the latest episode of AEW Dynamite, following a surprising ambush led by Jack Perry. Khan was in the midst of what appeared to be a reconciliation attempt with Perry when the latter unexpectedly attacked him, striking him in the gut. This initial assault quickly escalated as The Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada joined Perry, resulting in Khan being left incapacitated in the ring.

The attack took an aggressive turn when The Young Bucks delivered their signature Meltzer Driver on Khan, adding to the intensity of the assault. This chaotic scene led to swift reactions from the AEW locker room, with several wrestlers rushing to the ring to offer assistance. Shahid Khan, Tony’s father and the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars, also made his way to the ring to check on his son.

As reported earlier, Tony Khan pulled out all the stops to sell The Elite’s attack. In light of this, Sean Ross Sapp took to Twitter and reported that Tony Khan was spotted wearing a neck brace on the closed set of the Parking Lot Brawl filming between Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta, which will air on AEW Rampaeg this week.

”Tony Khan was in a neckbrace on the closed set of the Parking Lot Brawl filming last night, @FightfulSelect has learned 😭”

Tony Khan’s status as part of the NFL draft is also questionable following The Elite’s brutal assault. Judging by this report, it is likely fans might just see Khan wearing a neckbrace during the NFL Draft, so we’ll have to see if that will happen.
