WWE is all about history. They have produced thousands of matches and most of those contests have been officiated by men. Now WWE is finally adding a woman into the mix on the main roster.

We previously reported that former NXT referee Jessika Carr said goodbye to Full Sail Arena. Tonight she will embark on a new phase in her career as a referee on the main roster.

Jessika Carr marks the first woman ever to be put on the WWE main roster as a full-time referee. This is a pretty big day for the Women’s Evolution in WWE. It will also be interesting to see how much attention they pay to Carr tonight.

This event is drumming up some mainstream press for the company too which is never a bad thing in cases like this. Hopefully, there will be more females to come in WWE to wear the stripes and count 1-2-3.
