Triple H & Stephanie McMahon Talked To Britt Baker About Accidental TakeOver Cameo

Britt Baker was displayed on the WWE Network during her boyfriend Adam Cole’s dangerous WarGames match. The director was just looking for concerned faces and he found a good one.

Sean Sapp said during a Fightful Select Q&A that Triple H would have needed to pull off quite an elaborate ruse if showing Britt Baker was planned. In fact, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon went to Britt Baker later on to discuss the situation

“If it wasn’t an accident, Triple H would have had to tell somebody beforehand, ‘hey get her on camera and I’ll pretend that I didn’t want it’ — I don’t believe that at all.”

“He and Stephanie went to Britt Baker, talked to her about it. He was like, ‘Get her off camera!’ backstage in Gorilla from people I spoke to.”

Triple H did say in his post NXT TakeOver: WarGames conference call that he felt bad about putting Britt Baker in that situation. At least her Google search tend skyrocketed.

This whole situation seems to be okay with AEW because they wrote parody of the entire event into Dynamite this week.
