WWE has a lot of power a lot of copyrights. They also have a lot of attorneys who work on Christmas.
WWE now has a Botchamania-like show on WWE Network hosted by The Good Brothers Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. It’s great that The Club is hosting a new WWE Network show, but it looks like WWE is trying to eliminate the possible inspiration for this show as well.
When the announcement was first made that Gallows and Anderson would be hosting such a show called “Botch Club,” Maffew from Botchamania tweeted out a pretty ominous message.
We had no idea exactly how spot-on he would be with the meme he sent out.
Botchamania has been having a hard time on YouTube for a very long time resulting in them having to pull clever tricks with the boxes on the screen to trick the sensors which would detect WWE programming. Now it looks like WWE has been able to get to Vimeo, which was Botchamania’s home on the internet.
Botchamania 378 is now listed as unavailable due to a copyright infringement made by WWE just after 8:00 am on Christmas Eve.
Hopefully, Botchamania won’t go away, but WWE is making it really difficult for fans to keep up with Maffew’s work. Some videos are still up on Vimeo, but you never know how long that will last.
This is why Maffew has his own site now.
