The Internet Wrestling Community is full of several factions, but the key is trying to wade through all of the information in order to find the best context for everything.
Mike Johnson of PW Insider was at a recent event when some people walked up to him with some questions he didn’t want to answer. It’s rather loud at the event, but you can hear that Johnson was claiming Vince Russo took him out of context.
Things seemed to escalate quickly and Johnson ended up slapping the phone out of this fan’s hands. He doesn’t like to be taken out of context which some believe is a term he uses to avoid getting heat from WWE.
Brad Shepard noted of the event:

“PWInsider’s Mike Johnson attacks a member of Vince Russo’s The Brand, after being confronted on video over alleged racist remarks Johnson made about Hispanics.”

Johnson later appeared on Konnan’s Keeping it 100 where he addressed those remarks and he apologized for them.
For what it is worth, Johnson has tried to blame us for taking him out of context in the past as well. Nothing has ever gotten physical though because we’re too busy for that. However, this is why we make sure to pull a full transcription when quoting him.
