As seen on Sky Bet, the betting odds for the upcoming Cruiserweight Championship match at WWE TLC have been released.
Buddy Murphy has been reigning over 205 Live for a few months now, with many fans eagerly anticipating Cedric Alexander’s eventual challenge for the title. While the show itself hasn’t been much to shout about in terms of viewership and general interest levels, you can almost guarantee that they’ll be in the running for ‘show stealer’ of the night when they square off at WWE TLC.
Neither man has been overly inspiring in their role as champion, but that could all change if they put in another big performance in San Jose.
When it comes to the odds themselves Buddy Murphy is the 4/6 favourite to retain the championship, with Cedric Alexander being the 11/10 underdog.
Given the many stipulation matches that’ll be on display at the event it’ll be somewhat difficult for them to stand out above the rest, but if anyone can do it, it’s the cruiserweights. A lot of fans have questioned how much longer the division can carry on for, but we’d assume there must be some kind of interest for it otherwise it wouldn’t still be around.
The last two and a half years have been interesting to say the least for the purple brand and it’d be a shame to see them go, but for now, fans who enjoy watching them on a week to week basis can rest easy knowing that they seem to be here to stay.
