WWE Superstars seem to be very excited about the vacation attached to the prize for winning the second season of WWE Mixed Match Challenge. The real prize is receiving the final entry positions in the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches. Now Charlotte Flair and Jeff Hardy are out of the running after R-Truth and Carmella were able to defeat them last night.
Flair and Hardy didn’t seem too upset by their loss and said that there’s always next year. It’s interesting Jeff Hardy mentioned coming back for MMC season three next year. We will just have to see what Hardy is doing next time the Mixed Match Challenge rolls around.
Their promise for a better run next season won’t help Charlotte Flair and Jeff Hardy this year. After their elimination from the Mixed Match Challenge, this also means they will be losing out on the coveted #30 entries in their respective Royal Rumble matches.
Jinder Mahal & Alicia Fox vs Bayley & Finn Balor and R-Truth & Carmella vs The Miz & Asuka are now the two matches left in the semifinals.
The winners of the tournament will be determined at the WWE TLC pay-per-view on December 16th. Therefore, since Charlotte Flair is already booked for a match at TLC, at least she won’t be forced to wrestle twice at the event.
