As seen on Sky Bet, the betting odds for Brock Lesnar’s potential return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship have been released.
There have been a variety of rumours going back and forth when it comes to whether or not Brock will step foot back inside the Octagon again, with some suggesting that his new deal with WWE could prevent him from returning in early 2019 – which is when he was initially tipped to come back after six months of testing with USADA.
Alas, there still seems to be some hope that it’s going to get pushed over the finish line and if it does, the fight in question will almost certainly be him challenging Daniel Cormier for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Daniel Cormier is the 2/5 favourite to ride off into the sunset with the belt, in what will probably be his retirement fight if you believe that he’ll retire at the age of 40 in March like he says he will. Lesnar is the 7/4 underdog, but that still isn’t bad considering that his last fight was in 2016 at UFC 200.
Brock is a force to be reckoned with but Cormier just seems to be getting better with age, which begs the question of whether or not he’ll remain in the UFC beyond March.
What’s more important for WWE fans, though, is discovering whether Lesnar’s return is legit. His current Universal Championship reign will likely lead to him defending the belt at the Royal Rumble, probably against Braun Strowman, and from that point on it’s anyone’s guess.
