Triple H On Velveteen Dream’s Potential “It’s Scary How Good He Will Be”

Velveteen Dream almost pulled out a huge victory at NXT TakeOver: WarGames and in the process he nearly won the NXT Championship from Tommaso Ciampa. The two battled in a grueling match that popped the Staples Center hard several times as they seriously thought Dream was going to pull it off in LA.
Triple H spoke to Cathy Kelley following NXT TakeOver: WarGames where he mentioned how great Velveteen Dream is and how scary it is that he is so young at this point.

“Here’s where I sit with Velveteen Dream. Unbelievable. Everything about him is not to be believed about how good he is and then I remember that he is only 23-years-old. 23-years-old, to take the champion with as much experience as he has, Tommaso Ciampa, to take him to that limit. To make a little mistake and to lose in what could have gone either way at 23-years-old. To have the whole world thinking this is yours at 23 it’s scary how good he will be.”
“It’s scary to think how dominant on every level he’ll be. If he’s not there now in a few years, it’s crazy to think that.”

That is some high praise from Triple H for Velveteen Dream. But if I were a betting man Dream has a huge future in WWE as he perfects the art of telling this kind of incredible story in the ring as he did at NXT TakeOver: WarGames.
