Kevin Owens went out of action recently and had surgeries on both of his knees. Now it’s only a matter of time before he returns as his fans wait patiently for that day to happen. WWE likes to have people return after WrestleMania to pop the crowd and start a fresh cycle of stories. But apparently, Owens might be back sooner than that.
Dave Meltzer provided a small update on Kevin Owens’ injury status on Wrestling Observer Radio where he revealed that KO might actually be cleared for a return before WrestleMania. It’s just up to WWE on whether or not they want to use him. After all, this is the time of the year when Mania plans start coming together.
“He’s recovering. There’s nothing really new. Enjoying time with his family I guess, you know? Hopefully, when he comes back he can come back out of nowhere with — he’ll be ready for WrestleMania most likely but will they start a guy in late-February or March and give him a program or what they usually do is this is like the period in November/December where they start lining up the whole WrestleMania card.”
Only time will tell if WWE will insert Kevin Owens right into a storyline for WrestleMania. Of course, his fans would prefer it if they did and WWE certainly needs as much star power as possible. So you never know when KO might show up to surprise us all in the next few months. But in the meantime, he seems to be enjoying life at home with his family as he recovers.
