Becky Lynch will not be facing Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series, but WWE apparently still wants to see this match go down. After all, they had to know it was an incredibly popular match in the first place and possibly the most anticipated match on the Survivor Series card.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that while WWE officials were trying to figure out what they would do for SmackDown Live and Becky Lynch, they were already considering adding it to WrestleMania.
“The Mania match today, it was talked about. It’s Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch which is probably going to be the main event at Mania or one of the two big matches at Mania.”
This swap would make perfect sense seeing how Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair has long been considered the possible main event of WrestleMania 35. Also, this switch might also cause Lynch to win the Royal Rumble match and then go after Rousey’s title on Raw. But only time will tell exactly how WWE gets it done if they go that direction.
It looks like fans will probably finally get Ronda vs Becky — it could just be at WrestleMania. But of course, if this does go down like this, it will make Becky Lynch’s dream of headlining a WrestleMania like she said she thought she would be next year in New Jersey.
