Matt Riddle’s arrival in WWE was a long time coming and it looks a lot of marijuana advocacy and hard work to get him there. But now that The King Of Bros is competing at Full Sail University, fans can’t wait to see what he will be able to do at a TakeOver special.
Riddle was supposedly slated to face Kassius Ohno at NXT TakeOver: WarGames this Saturday night in Los Angeles’ Staples Center. But apparently, that match has hit the cutting room floor and won’t be seen during the WWE Network special event.
Instead, Riddle vs Ohno will take place before the event kicks off and their match will be filmed for a later airing. This is disappointing for a lot of people, especially fans who have followed Riddle for years. But due to the fact that the card had four matches which need the time, this decision was made.
Maybe Riddle will finally make his NXT TakeOver debut at the next special event. But either way, fans in LA will still get to see him compete. They will just need to show up a little early for the show.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
