Tommaso Ciampa Teases Team DIY Reunion With Johnny Gargano

Johnny Gargano was one of the biggest babyfaces in NXT — but that seemed to really change this week. He attacked Aleister Black in a segment that has caused everyone to scratch their heads and wonder what Johnny was thinking. But his former tag team partner and greatest rival Tomasso Ciampa seemed to really enjoy it.
Since Johnny Wrestling’s supposed heel turn, Ciampa has been singing the praises of Gargano’s decision to get a little bit more ruthless. After all, it’s a tactic that has proven very effective for Ciampa as he remains the NXT Champion.
Although Ciampa didn’t say anything, those 3 black heart emojis seem to say everything that we need alongside a picture of Team DIY back in the days when they were a popular babyface team.
Only time will tell what NXT has in store for Gargano and Ciampa down the line, but a rekindling of their common bond on the heel side of the roster is certainly an interesting concept to us.
