Even a figure as legendary as The Undertaker can feel pain.
According to NeuFit- a physical fitness company based in The Undertaker’s hometown of Austin, Texas, “The Deadman” has been working with them for the past few months to address some chronic knee pain he has been enduring.
To be specific, The Undertaker has been receiving electrical stimulation therapy. Over the course of the past few months, it seems to have helped The Undertaker tremendously, as NeuFit put over this fact on their Instagram account.
In fact, NeuFit had the rare opportunity, with consent from “The Phenom” himself, to post pictures to show the treatment he has undergone. The pictures appear to have actually been taken from inside The Undertaker’s home gym.
From the NeuFit page, the company had the following to say:
“Regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, Mark Calaway, better known by the ring name, The Undertaker @undertaker, is an American professional wrestler. ⚡️?⚡️Our general manager, Rich @rich_dougherty has been working with him for several months, once a week, to help him get out of pain, especially around the knees. Let us just say that this man DOES NOT usually allow pics of any kind but he is so thrilled with his results that he happily posed for us. And YES, this is his happy face, y’all! Also, Rich might have had to endure a choke slam to get this pic, but he did it! ??⚡️?”
Rich Dougherty, who serves as the General Manager for the growing company added his own take on the situation:
“THE UNDERTAKER…I’ve been working with the big man weekly to keep him feelin like the champ that he is.”
Here are the photos shared by both Instagram accounts:
Given how active in-ring The Undertaker has been in WWE this year, kudos must be given when you realize he has been dealing with this level of chronic pain.
The Undertaker is scheduled to team with Kane to face Shawn Michaels and Triple H at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia this November. Furthermore, it is expected the legendary figure will retire at WrestleMania 35.
