As seen on Sky Bet, the official betting odds for tonight’s two World Cup qualifiers have been released.
The big question that many fans have heading into tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw is whether or not the company are going to address the uncertainty surrounding the upcoming WWE Crown Jewel pay per view. Regardless of that, though, it seems as if the company are still going ahead with the World Cup concept one way or another, and we have two more exciting qualifiers ahead of us.
Drew McIntyre (8/11) is currently favourited to defeat Seth Rollins (1/1) in their match, whereas Dean Ambrose (1/2) is being tipped to defeat Dolph Ziggler (6/4).
Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, John Cena and Kurt Angle have already been confirmed as participants in the tournament, with Rey Mysterio vs Shinsuke Nakamura being set to take place on SmackDown Live tomorrow night.
It’s unclear as to what the format of the WC will look like, although some members of the WWE Universe have been critical of the fact that the WWE hasn’t taken the concept literally by including superstars from a variety of different nations.
Whatever the case may be, though, it’s interesting to note that they’re pushing ahead with this idea – even though the future of Crown Jewel is incredibly uncertain. All we can hope for tonight is that we get some clarity regarding the situation, as well as two matches that will wow the fans. Given the four participants involved, that last point doesn’t seem like much of a stretch.
