The Undertaker walked into the Melbourne Cricket Field as a babyface and a legend. He left the ring after his match with Triple H as a heel, but still a legend.
The match slowed down as the No DQ match wore on. Soon, The Undertaker was in the middle of the ring with a steel chair begging Shawn Michaels to get involved in the match. The Undertaker laid Triple H out with chair shot after chair shot while begging HBK to get involved in the match.
As Michaels finally got involved during the end of the match and assisted Triple H in victory, there was a celebration between the former members of DX in the ring. This was a fierce contest and after the match was over, the 4 legends in the ring had a chance to show some amazing respect for each other.
The Undertaker took Triple H’s hand after The Game whispered some words in his face that we can only assume was profusely thanking him for the honor of doing the job. The 4 men shared the ring as DX raised the Brothers’ hands. There were fireworks and everyone got the feels.
Suddenly, The Undertaker and Kane turned on Shawn and Triple H and they beat them down in the ring. Michaels took a bump through the announce table from a chokeslam by The Undertaker as Michael Cole explained that Taker didn’t want to see it end as it did.
Even though the rumor might be that we’re going to see DX vs The Brothers Of Destruction at Crown Jewel, and it looks like this is only going to build toward that match with The Undertaker and Kane walking in with the most heat on them at this point. It is hard to peg The Undertaker and Kane as heels at this point with the amount of cheering people will always do because of who they are, but The Brothers Of Destruction are certainly headed toward this next battle as the bad guys in the situation.
