Backstage Report On WWE’s Plan For 205 Live Star On Raw

If you were paying close attention to the segment where a bunch of people ran down to attack The Shield on Raw a couple weeks ago, you might have noticed Drew Gulak in the mix. But apparently, we shouldn’t be expecting to see Raw turn into a “No Fly Zone” anytime soon.
Mike Johnson addressed Gulak’s participation on Raw during a PW Insider Elite audio update where he explained that Gulak was just in the right place at the right time… but there are no more plans to use him on the main roster.

“In the case of Drew Gulak I was told basically he is there. They needed another body an the angle involving The Shield and he was involved. That was it. There’s no greater meaning to this. There’s no greater role for Drew Gulak that’s envisioned for him.”

Drew Gulak is a great wrestler who can mix it up with people well above 205 pounds, so he could always be useful on the main roster. But it seems like the place to find Gulak will continue to be 205 Live as they move to Wednesdays at 7:00 pm.
