Former World Champions In Town for SummerSlam Weekend

SummerSlam may be labeled WWE’s second biggest show of the year, but it traditionally equals WrestleMania’s level of storytelling and celebrity appearances. Hollywood star Terry Crews has already appeared in a hype video for the biggest weekend of the summer, and who knows what other stars will show up, including past WWE alumni.

Now, according to PW Insider, former world and tag champions Edge and Christian have been spotted in Brooklyn. No word yet on whether they will be used on camera, or if they’re planning to record a episode of E&C’s pod of Awesomeness, but there appearance alone indicates how important tonight’s show could be.

The last time the duo was seen for WWE, they were inducting their rivals the Dudley Boyz into the Hall of Fame. Prior to that, they were involved in some segments with the New Day.
