It is being reported by Tokyo Sports that a well-known Japanese women’s wrestler may be headed to the United States of America to participate in the second annual Mae Young Classic. This follows Kairi Sane, who signed with WWE during the tournament and went on to win the first Mae Young Classic last year.
It is being reported that Meiko Satomura, aged 38, will be WWE bound for the upcoming Mae Young Classic tournament. Satomura is a prominent women’s wrestler in Japan, and the founder of Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling.
During her career, Satomura has captured Championships in Chikara, Fight Club: PRO, Gaea Japan, Sendai Girls’ Pro Wrestling and Stardom. She was also awarded the Joshi Puroresu Grand Prize back in 2013 by Tokyo Sports, the very establishment reporting this news.
To give some background on Satomura, she implements the Death Valley Bomb and an Axe Kick variation as her finishers. She also seems very versatile with her moveset. We have provided a match she is involved with below.
