How WWE Creative Decision Changed NXT Booking Plans

Shinsuke Nakamura has really shown a new side of himself recently as he started becoming infamous for hitting low blows. He’s really had fun with AJ Styles recently as well and now the two are set for another match for the WWE Championship.

It was noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there were plans for NXT TakeOver: Chicago to feature Johnny Gargano vs Tommaso Ciampa in a last man standing match which would have probably been epic. But this was changed when it was decided that Shinsuke Nakamura vs AJ Styles at Money In The Bank will have a last man standing stipulation.

Since the Nakamura vs Styles match will be a last man standing match, Gargano and Ciampa’s next battle is set to have a street fight stipulation instead.
