The Very Latest of Neville’s Status with WWE

Many readers have reached out to us asking about Neville’s status with WWE ever since he walked out on the company back in October of last year after he was unhappy with his position in the company.

Mike Johnson provided some insight on Neville’s status in the latest PWInsider Elite Audio when he was asked about his status and mentioned that he’s still sitting at home because WWE is refusing to release him from his deal.

Yeah, he’s hanging out at home, waiting to figure out how he’s going to get out of his WWE contract. Or if he’s going to come up with some way to come back to WWE. We’ll see if that ever happens.

As previously noted, Neville was looking at leaving WWE but was unable to get his release. Neville will most-likely have to make up for the time he’s been away on his contract if he does decide to come back, as they probably put a freeze on his contract while he’s been missing dates. WWE did the same thing with both Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio when they missed a significant amount of time while under contract.
