Exclusive: CM Punk’s Trial Date With WWE Revealed

WWE is currently in the middle of a $1 million defamation lawsuit against CM Punk and Colt Cabana.

Cabana had CM Punk on his podcast and the two had a great time during a two-episode segment discussing why Punk left WWE. During their conversation, Punk threw some serious allegations at WWE and their doctor which sparked this lawsuit from WWE and Dr. Chris Amann.

The case is currently set to go to trial on May 21st. There was an entry in court documents on June 27th, 2016 which included this date and since then they have exchanged information and prepped for the case.The latest activity was a disposition filed by attorneys Deutsch Levy and Engel on behalf of Dr. Chris Amaan on April 5th. Therefore, it seems like they’re gearing up to go to court.
