Rey Mysterio Meets with WWE Doctors

PWInsider has confirmed reports that Rey Mysterio met with in WWE doctors yesterday in Birmingham, Alabama as part of his current contract negotiations for his return to the company. No other information was provided in regards to if a deal was reached between Mysterio and WWE.

Speaking of Mysterio, he will not be attending Sunday’s New Japan Pro Wrestling event in Long Beach, California, where he was slated to face Jushin Liger. Instead, Will Ospreay will be taking his place.
