Reason Why Tyler Bate Has Backstage Heat

Dave Meltzer reported on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that there is backstage heat on WWE UK Superstar Tyler Bate.

Bate’s heat is dated back before he lost the WWE UK Championship Title to Pete Dunne at NXT Takeover: Chicago last year. There was a situation where WWE wanted to book Bate on a main roster tour but he had other engagements and couldn’t work the tour. This obviously didn’t go over very well with officials.

Bate has since then worked several WWE events and made his return to WWE programming. Bate recently lost to Roderick Strong on an episode of NXT and then suffered another loss to TJP. Bate commented on the recent losses with the following remarks:
