WWE Reportedly Unaware of Chris Jericho Agreeing to Match Against Kenny Omega

WWE apparently didn’t know about Chris Jericho agreeing to work a match against Kenny Omega at the upcoming Wrestle Kingdom 12 event.

Nick Hausman, who is the co-host of Eric Bischoff’s podcast, revealed that WWE had no idea about Jericho’s challenge until it aired at Saturday’s NJPW Power Struggle event.

Jericho is a free agent and can work anywhere he chooses. His last stint with WWE was on a month-to-month deal and that deal expired. As previously noted, Jericho has been in talks with New Japan Pro Wrestling since August.
